Overview
Notre Dame Australia is partnered with the well-known Notre Dame in the US. In Australia its four campuses promote excellence in education and professional development, specialising in undergraduate preparation for life and work.

Location
The University of Notre Dame Australia is located in four campuses: Fremantle in south west Western Australia, Broome in the north of Western Australia, and Darlinghurst and Broadway in Sydney.
Fremantle is the port adjacent to Perth, the capital of Western Australia, and, as such, has access to all the resources and facilities of a state capital for business, recreation and socialising. Broome is in the Kimberley region, 2200 kilometres north of Perth, with a history as a port servicing the pearl industry and has a tropical climate.
Broadway and Darlinghurst are both a stone’s throw away from Sydney’s CBD with access to all the cultural, recreational and social opportunities available in the capital city of the state of New South Wales.
Campuses
Fremantle campus has the largest student body and houses the head office of the Student Association. The campus is located in restored colonial buildings of high heritage and aesthetic value, offering Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Law, Medicine and Nursing, Theology and Philosophy. The campus has excellent library facilities and teaching and learning facilities, with a focus
on community service.
Broome campus offers courses in Aboriginal history and culture. One of its goals is to maintain this focus throughout the rest of its teaching curriculum, which includes Education and Nursing. Facilities include a well-appointed library and student accommodation. Students from other campuses spend time at Broome being exposed to its academic and social justice focus.
Broadway campus is close to the city and offers Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Law, Theology and Philosophy. The campus is housed in the former St Benedict’s School premises, dating back to colonial times.
Darlinghurst campus is situated in adjacent St Vincent’s Hospitals and houses the school of Medicine and Nursing, working in close conjunction with the hospital in the clinical education of the University’s students. The campus is house in the Sacred Heart parish buildings, now beautifully restored, and
hosts the Medical Student’s Association and Student Nurse’s Association.

Entry Requirements
English requirements:- undergraduate admission generally requires an overall IELTS of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 (Nursing, Education, Law and Physiotherapy overall 7.0, no band less than 6.5); postgraduate admission generally requires an overall IELTS of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 (Education, Nursing, Law overall 7.0, no band less than6.5).
Academic requirements:- undergraduate admission generally requires the successful completion of the recognised equivalent of Year 12 High School; postgraduate admission generally requires the successful completion of the recognised equivalent of a Bachelor degree.

Enrolment dates
Applicants are advised to apply two to three months before the intended semester of commencement.

Student activities
The University’s Student Association organises clubs and activities through the campuses while students usually organise their own informal social and recreational activities. The local communities where the campuses are loacted provide many opportunities for social, cultural and recreational activities while the student clubs aim to support students socially and pastorally.
