The main campus is in Sydney, the capital city of New South Wales and the state’s centre of government, business and culture. Sydney sits astride the Harbour and Port Jackson, offering all the resources and facilities of a major urban centre, including recreation and entertainment.
Canberra is the nation’s capital, located approximately midway between Sydney and Melbourne (the capital of the state of Victoria) and, as you would expect, offers all the social and cultural advantages that come with the country’s centre of government.
Campuses
Kensington campus, located in Sydney, is the main campus, located in the inner south east twenty minutes form the city’s main rail terminus and 15 minutes form Sydney International Airport. The campus houses the Climate Change Research Centre along with excellent, state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities, recreation and sporting facilities and easy access to the social and recreational opportunities available in the city.
Paddington campus is also located in Sydney, close to Kensington campus and closer to the city. This campus houses the College of Fine Arts and is close to Sydney’s artistic and IT centres. It offers state-of-the-art computing resources plus gallery and exhibition space for students.
Canberra campus is only a few kilometres from the city’s centre and housed within the Australian Defence Force Academy, which provides high-quality tertiary education to the nation’s armed services.
