La Trobe University is internationally recognised for its excellence in teaching and research and it is part of a global network of universities working towards the internationalisation of education.
With seven campuses and many research centres located throughout Victoria, in south eastern Australia, La Trobe offers the benefits of its educational opportunities to international students at its Melbourne (Bundoora), Albury-Wodonga and Bendigo campuses.

Location
La Trobe’s campuses are located in a variety of environments, from Melbourne city, through Bendigo’s regional setting to Albury-Wodonga’s Murray River site, on the border with New South Wales
Campuses
Melbourne (Bundoora) campus, La Trobe’s largest campus is situated roughly 14 kilometres from the CBD on 330 hectares of parkland with complete facilities to service life on campus. There is student accommodation, various shops and restaurants, entertainment facilities and state of the art teaching, learning and research facilities, along with wireless internet and an excellent library.
Bendigo campus is the second-largest campus, after Melbourne, and is laid out on over 30 hectares of bushland roughly three kilometres from Bendigo’s city centre. The campus is well supplied with public transport to Bendigo and other destinations and is well-connected to the university’s facilities, while providing a safe and relaxed learning experience on this friendly campus. There is student accommodation available close to the campus facilities and students are well-cared for by staff.
Albury-Wodonga campus is an important regional campus with a focus on Health Sciences and offers a smaller environment in which it is easier for people to get to know one another and develop lasting friendships. There are recreational facilities, student accommodation, state-of-the-art teaching and learning technology and easy transport from campus to town.

English Courses
English language courses are offered through the La Trobe University International College, located on the Melbourne campus. Courses offered include English for Further Studies, General English, Business English and Certificate II in Professional Communication (Internship). Entry Requirements
English language requirements:
Undergraduate generally requires an IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no band less than 6.0;
Postgraduate generally requires an IELTS of 6.5 overall with no band less than 6.0
Academic requirements:
Undergraduate entry generally requires successful completion of the recognised equivalent of Year 12 High School, while some subjects may have particular prerequisites.
Postgraduate entry generally requires the successful completion of the recognised equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree and also require recognised experience in the chosen field of study.
